Excellent essay Greg. Thank you, as always.

Looking at what we know of his horoscope, we see Mercury (how he thinks) in Cancer, with only one contact -- and that is to Neptune (fantasy, deception, ideals). His boss has a similar pattern. Both think intuitively and know how to appeal to the emotions of the audience. Both fabricate easily. Last week's solar eclipse fell on a part of his horoscope that relates to a toxic release. We expect a possible reputational reckoning -- at the least, an exposure -- sudden challenges from the collective, fractures in alliances, or a destabilizing shift in how they are perceived. Whether it results in lasting damage depends on the resilience of the surrounding system. Fun fact: the beer-chugging FBI guy has the same pattern. For both, yesterday was a likely day of possible attack (great job on the timing of this article, Greg!!!). More to come around March 1, and March 10-14 (a few days earlier for beer guy). For Lutnick, we see why patterns of deception are being pushed to extremes in the first part of 2026.

Greg I don't know how you go to these deep dark places and write so eloquently about them. I spoke with someone regarding the tariff windfall as I asked, "look what lutnick did " . They confirmed it was his firm which will benefit and that this type of hedging bet is common in those places. Dr. Jekyl and Mr Hyde was the phrase which came into my head as I was reading but I am not sure it is extreme enough to portray a man who experiences so much loss, lives in so much opulence and lies with thieves.

In awe of your brilliance.

Really.

People who lie like this, in this particular way, effectively, who give epic believable Oscar winning performances - in the context of his profession and what we've learned 25years after that sincere emotional interview:

_The question of how he could've been "Scrooge before and after the ghosts visited"_ The conviction in his empathetic outpouring of his dedication to the families of his employees that in less than three months gets switched off like a light bulb?

Is fundamentally the right question to ask first if any of us want to know what kind of person we're dealing with and to adjust our sails accordingly moving forward.

Imho. There is no bottom to this man's barrel of dispicable deeds. Anything is possible for this Depravity Olympics* potential gold medalist.

[Psychopaths: They possess a higher degree of charm and can simulate empathy and emotions, which they use to manipulate and control others effectively... They can turn it off and on like a light switch.]

I'd be inclined to look at his family's history parents childhood and siblings to find out how we help Howard end.

Greg, I remember seeing Lutnick sobbing, crying his eyes out everywhere post-9/11 and thinking “poor guy, he must be so grateful to his little boy for unknowingly saving his life”. Life being as it is, I got busy and forgot about him. Until President Epstein aka PedoFelon made him Secretary of Commerce. Long story short…I now don’t believe anything spewed by Lutnick EVER. Let Madame Karma kick his ass.

I also recall seeing Sarah Ferguson gratefully thanking Lutnick for generously giving her office space to conduct her charity work. Let Madame Karma kick her ass too. As well as her ex-husband.

The Epstein victims/survivors deserve justice. Along with 99% of Americans.

Several years ago I met up with an old school mate who had had an important position in a manhattan private school for decades. Now retired, we hadn’t seen each other, also in many decades and I was eager to “catch up.” Our mothers had known each others we were I guess you could say childhood friends. We sat down at a coffee shop on the upper west side, which we agreed during our talk, was much ore interesting and vibrant than the east side of manhattan. Before we parted, I finally asked her a by the way question; what school were you working at? In several careful sentences, so different from all the intimacies we had just shared, she first avoided telling me. Then it became an obvious refusal to say. And there you have it. The lowly struggling middle class will protect these people until the day they die. NDAs? Who knows. But there it is. Only one of their own carries the approved go ahead signal to reveal. Like Wexler who, the day before the cunt (not my label but that of palace security) was arrested, would not shut the fuck up, (not my critical emphasis, but that of his lawyer.)

I wish I had the capacity to unravel all the banking threads and place them on a chart where I might begin to understand this mess. I feel frequently left behind when some inside information (like ‘The Big Short’) paints a picture I am unfocused enough to see in real time. Have we lost all over sight or is Lutnick there to help with that?! (For himself obviously). Thanks Greg!

If only. Thank you for this deep dive on perhaps the most shadiest of villains currently occupying our White House. I heard a rumor that he was warned in advance on 9/11 Via a cryptic message from the Israeli messaging service ODIGO. (I know one other person who avoided the Towers that day, too, hmmm).

We need answers re: his $10 real estate deal w Epstein.

I’ve heard similar Amy, the one thing we can say with certainty is Lutnicks mendacity fit well in this administration… there is no truth, only corruption.

Money serves as a better catalyst than anything else for the speed with which it will reveal a man's true nature.

I have felt all along that the Epstein thing was more about money than underage sex, sure there was the enticement of forbidden sex with young girls and for some that was very attractive, but I think the real lure for so many was the insider trading, free of risk with the promise of vast increases in real wealth, which is probably why women were involved with Epstein as well. Just like the reading of Greg’s essay today was befuddling with all of its twists and turns, getting a true understanding of what these people were up to on a global scale, using business entities designed to hide the people pulling the strings, may prove to be nearly impossible, and even if it is understood by a few, how does that translate to a public understanding that might bring about convictions in front of juries, or new laws written by our political class that will prevent it from being repeated. Greed seems to be central to this whole sordid tragedy, and none of us are immune to its attraction, the blessed among us have the moral fiber to resist it. This was something that was decades in the making, that’s why there are many millions of pages in evidence.

Greg great piece, extremely well researched.

Lutnick is a Jekyll/Hyde character. Dr. J. is not a saint, indeed a morally compromised man, Hyde pure evil. Jekyll's bankruptcy feeds Hyde's evilness. I do believe everything Lutnick did and does had one goal in mind, benefit Lutnick. Everything Jekyll Lutnick did fed Hyde Lutnick's evil. Jekyll Lutnick may have found epstein reprehensible but Hyde Lutnick maybe not so reprehensible as to introduce his and a friend's children to him.

It is my belief that the greatest profits made on Wall Street come from capitalizing on someone's misfortune. The bigger the misfortune, the bigger the profit. As Gordon Gekko said, greed is good. Was Lutnick's generosity a pretense for capitalizing down the road on 9/11 events? Your words, his actions make me believe it was.

Brilliant article! Thank you for all your research, knowledge and writing!!

Oh, in my comment elsewhere, I forgot to add that somewhere along the line didn’t Lutnick stop the paychecks (like immediately) of the people who perished? Or didn’t wind up paying out to families of those killed on 9/11?

Also, jumping up to the Epstein stuff…

“the third rail of the Trump White House.” 😏😎 Indeed!!
