...And we, the People, reelected this monster to the highest office in the land - this traitor who staged a violent coup on live TV for all the world to see, this misogynist, this rapist of little children, this loathsome racist, this bloviating, corrupt and criminal thug who starts wars on a whim regardless of lives lost and economic upheaval to the entire world, this lapdog of a dictator who is out to destroy our nation - rather than throwing him, along with all his fellow conspirators, into jail?
Call me naive, but I simply cannot wrap my head around any of this.
