It’s shit like this that seems will bring the orange king to wear orange in prison for the rest of his life, seems un refutable. And it twists my mind up how he gets a free pass all the time. I’m ready to dance in the streets when that bastard gets served

Awesome, Greg and Gal. My own theory is that all this was primarily to service Putin and the Russian Mob's greed to own Ukraine and all it's assets.

> My theory of Trump-Putin plan to grab Ukraine

(including the reason for the desperate Jan 6th insurrection)

1. Putin and the Russian mob have been lusting after the resources of Ukraine for years. Yanukovich failed. Even better if there are NO UKRAINIANS LEFT to interfere with the mob's rape of Ukraine. Thus, the ongoing GENOCIDE.

2. To successfully steal democratic Ukraine, NATO must be neutralised or weakened significantly.

3. Seeing an opportunity to get a Russian stooge, Trump, into the White House would mean a possibility of prising the USA out of NATO.

4. The long term planning was set for early 2022 to invade Ukraine.

5. However, Trump flubbed it and lost.

6. So by any means possible, including insurrection, false electors, ballot ninja shenanigans etc, Trump (and many, many GOP and Russian-paid or blackmailed agents) must get another crack at getting the USA out of NATO before the tanks roll.

7. Trump continues to serve his master, the Russian mob, to this day, still trying to overturn the election, but just too late.

8. Note that Trump will surely flee to Moscow before being quietly arrested in the USA, but not as a Hero of the New Putin USSR.

Chilling as this activity is, I have to wonder just how badly Trump and his stupid brain-dead accomplices underestimated the strength of democratic tradition. I remember how often these dumbshits railed against “the deep state.“ The deep state is the traditions and practices and procedures of the government agencies, and their agents and employees who opposed efforts to corrupt our democracy.

Trump kept appointing weak-minded saps to top positions in the govt, but this isn’t a corrupt country like Russia. The career officials that make up the vast bulk of a government agency have tremendous sway collectively. Only by gutting an institution, like the State Department, can an agency be sufficiently weakened to the point of ineffectiveness.

Of course I’m making these observations with 20/20 hindsight. While this attempt to turn our democracy into a fascist state was going down, I was as terrified as everyone else who had eyes to see, and who wasn’t on the side of the racist – sexists wanting a return to antebellum society.

This gave me chills. I have a feeling the hearings will make me chilled for days. I'll listen to that podcast later. Thanks!

This stuff is beginning to come at us fast and furious(ly!). Jamie Raskin assures us the hearings will reveal trump as a “one-man crime wave”. The question that haunts me is, Then what?

In spite of what we're finding out about how calculated the planning was, they still managed to produce the Four Seasons epic buffoonery. There's no doubt that there will be a comedy movie made about this in the future.

Keep this in mind when you listen to next week's podcast. It will make sense!

Do you know how they ended up at that Four Seasons? It's a mystery to me.

I think the issue is going to be

"its the economy stupid."

Besides the insane Trump cult,

people are going to ignorantly blame the economy on The Democrats. Cheap gas is more important than freedom. And the local eatery is charging me a buck more for my bean burrito. No cheese please.

Oh well we been murdering everything since that first Homicide in the film 2001.

Hey, Roland. Greg's post with Gal Sullivan's podcast was new news to me. Had you heard of the EO 13848 w/ USAID controlling a re-do election before? Someone on HCR commented it was old news.

It’s new news to me. I’d never heard of 13848. That’s why I’m thanking you for linking to it from HCR, I’m guessing most readers there have never heard of it.

Thanks for confirming, Roland! It may be that the person who said it was old news never read Greg's post and just assumed it was...old news.

I just had an insight.

Sometimes when one begins reading a Greg Olear piece, there can be an initial reaction of shock and denial: “…oh this can’t possibly be true. This information is so far-fetched, so bizarro.”

Greg is a Type 4 in the Enneagram, I am convinced of that. His love of Edna St. Vincent Millay constitutes continuing proof of that belief of mine [q.v. Greg’s Sunday June 5 piece].

Millay is also clearly a Type 4: the Artist, the Bohemian, the Creative Renegade.

So now I see the connection between Greg’s Sunday work and his weekday genius-level research into the dark corners of society. It flows from his love of and excitement for the mysterious and arcane. Fascinating.
