Shall be listening. Is it possible to hold one's breathe until November 6? Joe the gaffe machine added a not needed twist but since when does speaking the truth hurt? Seems to me only when you mishandle the response. At worst the MSM double standard is on full display, expected perfection versus the bumbling shit show, the latter extolled, the former treated as evil.

Amazing how things have changed, even since this posted last week. Here we go!

Excellent piece by Jen Rubin who brings receipts on all the reasons Trump probably cannot overturn results. I know it's WaPo but Jen is one of the good ones.

The reporters at WaPo are great, and Jen has been amazing for 8 years now.

I think WaPo's reporters who don't cover politics are excellent. Since Greg Sargent left, the other political reporters are an amorphous blob of copiers/pasters of GOP talking points with some mean girl thrown in for cool cred. The only Opinion Columnists I read are Rubin, Petri, and Robinson with an occasional Milbank. That's 4 more than the number of NYT Opinion Writers I would read.

Excellent, Greg! "Big Gretch!" LOL Also glad you finally caught up to my feelings about Anderson Cooper. I have LOATHED him since he threw his "friend," Kathy Griffin under the bus after the "Trump bloody head" photo in 2016. Fuck him!

And in a completely unsurprising development: https://www.wired.com/story/elon-musk-america-pac-blitz-canvassing-michigan-uhaul/

And here, because we ALL need a little Randy Rainbow (this one is Emmy-worthy!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbuOVqpuifM

That story about Musk and the U-Haul van is crazy, Steve.

Thanks for the Randy Rainbow link, too!

IKR? Ironically, the Musk story reminded me of what migrants can go through when finding work outside of a Home Depot! It's gross how all of these people are being treated, and for TRUMP, for gods' sake!

Randy Rainbow mashed up "Xanadu" and "In the Year 2525." Anybody who can do that AND make it hysterically funny about MAGA, not only deserves an Emmy nomination but is a national treasure.

Edited for "ironically." I knew the first version of that was wrong! What happened to my damned spell-check?! Ugh!

I swear, I was so mad at CNN...madder at them than anyone! It's like, Can you do your jobs for ONE FUCKING MINUTE? But alas, they cannot. I vote we send Anderson to cover more hurricanes.

Thanks Greg. Like y’all, I’m thinking positively in spite of all the bullshittery from trump and co.

Y’all have a good day now, ya hear?

Thanks Greg! Everybody needs a little pep talk right now. And don’t forget, just because we think we are going to kick his ass, everyone has still got to vote. (I know anyone reading this knows that, but I worry that we could have a bit more staying home if people h think she already has this in the bag.)

Yes, we can't get complacent. but I doubt anyone is feeling that way. We are running through the tape.

I find your arguments for Kamala very sound, Greg. Besides, if nothing else, just the sound of your voice is a calming influence. Thanks!

Yes! Feels like we are in a perpetual purgatory. Thank you for acknowledging the anxiousness, Greg. I’ve unplugged from social media. And not watching anything ‘live.’ Ready to get on with things. In a government devoid of Trump — for good!

Perpetual purgatory -- well put, and yes! Taht's what happens with Garland at the DOJ. A whole lotta nothing.
