Sadly, I no longer believe they are going to get any punishment, or even leave office. He already has several angles covered for the "win", and up to now dems havent seemed successful In their ventures to rein him in. Also, didn't they have the language removed saying it had to be reported if accepting foreign help? Couple months back. Hopefully it didnt pass.

I work with a fellow who omitted info about his spouse's travels on an SF-86 yearly update. (And my gut feeling & everything I know of this guy tells me it was unintentional). They pulled his security clearances & walked him out. We didn't see him for a year while they readjudicated his standing. Yet Jarvanka got - - how many passes? Also, I have to fill out an OGE-450 every year, telling all my financial & investment ties, or else. Have BLOATUS, Jarvanka, Mnuchin, et al, done this? Like, REALLY done it? Doubtful. There are two sets of rules: one for members of this fukkking VLADMINISTRATION, and one for the rest of us chumps...and it's incredibly Un-American...

It's how "things work" in a banana republic & a devastating shame for the USA. So now, on the bright side, this cheered me up a lot today; I might even sleep tonite:

I think Trump was very careful to describe Hydroxycloroquinine and Ivermectin in such a way that his followers would take them for early COVID-19 treatment and Democrats would avoid them. That way he expected to boost GOP election returns.

To stop the pandemic we needed vaccines AND antivirals. But Trump managed to get Democrats to avoid the antivirals.

It helped that the FDA & CDC are pro-industry, and against generic medicines which threaten profits. Trumps FDA gleefully described Ivermectin as "horse dewormer". Ok, and by that logic, antibiotics are mostly used to fatten cattle for slaughter. Are you being fattened for slaughter? Why take antibiotics then?

Because FDA officials routinely own stock in the companies they regulate, and accept promotions from them through the revolving door, American's alone pay over 70% of the GLOBAL PROFITS of drug companies. Americans are less than 25% of world GDP...

This intitutionalized corruption, "public private partnership" is also why we don't get low prices on things like Epi-Pens or insulin which ought to be cheap generics priced just above the manufacturing & distribution cost.
