Thanks, Becky. Wray and Kavanaugh were two years apart at Yale and ran in very tight circles. I wish it were not like this, ugh.

"Why don’t the Dems exhibit the same ruthlessness, clarity of purpose and moral obligation to their voters and the American people? Why always the proverbial knife at the gun-fight?" If we can answer that, and resolve it, we have a "fighting" chance.

That’s the big question right there

Marlene Lerner-Bigley (CA)'s avatar

It is mind-boggling, MaryPat, that the Dems aren’t shouting very loudly about this. In fact, it’s maddening!

It frustrates and angers me SO that this guy is on @Scotus. Our DOJ, anyone, must start a formal investigation. Great piece, Greg.

I don't know what else to do but keep bringing this up.

brilliant Greg. how can we force this to be an issue? i don't understand why they be stumbling except for Chris Wray and all . . . thanks.

Greg Olear's avatar

I wish I knew.

Keep on putting this out there. My bet is that there is such an investigation going on but for obvious reasons it is top secret.

Greg Olear's avatar

Oh, I certainly hope so.

Oh my. I LOVE this. Whenever I see his frat brat mug, I see Gaetz and his ilk too. One and the same.

“Sqwee. Pass me another beer and get one of those passed out girls for me too. That would be supreme Sqwee.” Ellen, hope he goes down.

Yes, same type of person.

I have given Garland a break up to this point, and the Dems. They need to get this absolutely right, including the timing.

I think Pelosi, Schiff, Schumer and Biden have a very big plan in place. And it involves charging Giuliani, Flynn, Bannon and Stone with treason - and then doing the same for 8-12 senators and 12-20 House members.

The indictment of Giuliani will probably come first - in September.

Marlene Lerner-Bigley (CA)'s avatar

This is my “hope” too. Damnit, we need something yo rejoice about!!

Marlene Lerner-Bigley (CA)'s avatar

To not “yo” 🙄

Greg Olear's avatar

I certainly hope so. There ARE indications that stuff is moving. But I've seen no indications about Kavanaugh.

NewToThis's avatar

But once those GOP folks are removed from Congress it makes a hearing and impeachment of Kavanaugh much easier.

And then we put 4 or 6 (my preference) more justices on the Court. Making it 10-5 in our favor.

It's mid October--still not indicted but Rudy has all but disappeared from public view.

NewToThis's avatar

I know....

There are so many crimes. So much evidence. I don't know why they don't hit several of them with the easiest indictments.

Perhaps they're waiting for the indictments where they could ensure that the person does not get bail? Because that would put the fear of God into some of them.

Or is it because there are so many booby-traps laid down by the Rosensteins and other professional fuqqerists?

I really don't know.

Greg, did you know that your article above is trending today on Twitter?!!!

Yay!!

Greg Olear's avatar

I did! Which is I believe what is called "proof of concept."
