I hope Michael Moore is correct about the Blue Tsunami

I was at the poles at 5:55 and voted at 6:00 🕕 straight up BLUE I hope 🤞🏻 we all see they the bullshit

Also I’m off the Blue Bird some how it turned into a red turd 💩 musk can go fuck him self

Expand full comment

Musk is a word used in association with the smell of a skunk. The name fits so perfectly.

IIRC it was a popular mens cologne, hmm… the intractable vomiting odor!

I don't trust Moore, but yes, I hope he's right, too. He was right in 2016.

Wee Marco accepted Russian filthy lucre campaign contributions and deserves to stand trial for treason. I beg our alma mater to revoke his law degree and our Bar to do the same with his law license. He’s a cancer to society, a boil on our collective butts…and hasn’t accomplished a damn thing for Florida or the country. #NoToMarco. #ValSeeksJustice

👏 👏 👏 👏

What he did with Volume 5 is inexcusable, unforgivable. Just a disgrace. Unlike most of the folks on the Hill, he's broke. That's not ideal, either.

I forgot the tie in with Oz in PA and Turkish exile Gulen. Always in the back of my mind, I'd also forgotten a few things about the July 4 Moscow Mules, the connections intrigue me. Glad you brought the knives out for Musk, Oz, Vance, Johnson and Kennedy... I hope I'm not the only person sick & tired of being sick, tired, angry & disgusted. In this rural area of Ohio, one can see confederate flags and rope nooses on porches, but suspiciously few candidate yard signs, except for some local races. Already voted straight blue early in person (in a county with only 40% vaccinated) I agree, wtf Ohio?

Expand full comment

Not that Oz could do anything about it, but it just seems too important to be coincidental. And yeah: Ohio! Come on! In NY, there are Lee Zeldin signs everywhere, but only in places that are not land anyone owns, on strips of grass between sidewalks and the road near shopping centers and that kind of thing. It's a form of psy-op.

“America First” is cover (code) for “Whites First and Men First”

For us, for this country, today is the most important day of 2022 and 2023.

I never thought about this but it is so true.

Well said, on both points.

“…[the GOP] may install Donald Trump as Speaker of the House and Mike Flynn as president pro tempore of the Senate, and then impeach Biden and Harris both.”

My Dear Greg,

(and I do mean that in the traditional sense, that you are dear to me, not in the robotic pro-forma sense)

I’m sure everyone here would agree that there was a time not long ago, 2016 perhaps, when we would dismiss out-of-hand statements of this type. Boy were we naïve. Then, a sewer rat predator lifetime NY Democrat deeply in bed with the mafia, owned by the dictator of Russia, turns Republican and becomes President. As President, he is the hand grenade everyone feared, gutting the State Dept. and the EPA (among other govt. agencies), breaking every law and ethics rule that applies to US government officials, and then attempts a coup on his way out the door. Putin’s wet dream.

His successor beats him by the slimmest of margins, 7 million votes out of 155 million votes cast, less than half the population of the country (320-340 million people) voting. I refuse to listen to these idiots who say that this was a big margin. BULL. We didn’t even KNOW until Friday evening, 3 days after Election Day 2020, who won. IT WAS A VERY CLOSE ELECTION. MUCH TOO CLOSE.

Nothing is outlandish anymore. If these white-supremacy male-supremacy Christianity-uber-alles money-before-morality I’ll-do-anything-if-you-pay-me-big-bucks sleaze buckets get their way, anything could happen. The creeps who gravitate to Republican power politics like flies to shit on a hot August day are capable of anything if Putin or Erdogan or the donations from the Republican voting public (or Thiel etc) pay them well (Bannon, Alex Jones, et al).

Never again will I poo-poo or dismiss a suggestion of this kind. Nothing is too outlandish for these scum buckets.

Yes, hyperbole is truly dead and buried.

Thanks, Roland. Again, well said. I don't think there's anything they would not try or do. Because once Trump -- or a similar fascist -- is in power, they all get pardons. Ruth Ben-Ghiat explains that in fascist states, criminality is always prized. Trump is no exception. We need Garland to act as soon as the election is over.

Obviously the most important thing to do today is vote. After that, it seems just as important to be ready to put out the brushfires of lies before they catch the whole country on fire. MAGA operatives will be throwing molotov cocktails of bullshit about voter fraud, and trying to crown their candidate the winner if they are ahead in the polls before all the votes are counted. We need to stop them in their tracks: "Many races will not be decided for several days or longer." "If there was election fraud, prove it right now!" "Your candidate didn't win because people aren't that stupid." We need to be ready.

Expand full comment

There are so many brushfires already. Trump is a flamethrower on that idiot Truth Social platform. Hopefully the media won't go along with it.

I love my PREVAIL extra spicy, and thankfully Chef Olear is serving it up Fra Diavolo today!

To see this list of horrible people in one place is soul-crushing; even more so when you consider that they are just the very tip of a massive, awful and disgusting iceberg that is crashing our democracy.

I have a terrible feeling in my gut this morning about this election, but I am comforted by the fact that there are so many smart and decent people in the PREVAIL community who share in the agita and are passionate about pushing for a better world. Stay strong, everyone!

Greg, I loved the fact that you didn’t hold anything back today. I read your 2019 piece and it was a good reminder of those of the Pro-Rape Party who went to Russia. I remember it well and have never forgotten about it. Kennedy, well, I have never been able to look at him, much less listen to the bullshit he spews. My vision of him is seeing this man dressed in overalls, wearing a straw hat, and him chewing on pieces of hay. What did Oxford teach him??

No matter what happens today, there are plenty of us will to go to the frontlines to fight for our freedoms. We will PREVAIL!

Expand full comment

Thanks, Marlene! To be fair, there's nothing wrong with going to Russia (although that trip seemed clearly designed for that purpose). But to come back and suddenly spew Kremlin talking points? RJ was going to not run and then did. He's already rich af. Why is he here?

Expand full comment

Either someone has something on him or someone in his family or he's just plain GREEDY. I so hope he loses.

He’s being paid by Putin’s oligarchs and that SOB won his seat again tonight! What I can’t reconcile right now is how close the Warnock/Walker race is!!

Expand full comment

Yes and Yes. The good news about Warnock/Walker is that neither is at 50% so there will be a runoff. Just like last time and Warnock won the runoff. I don't see Walker doing well in a runoff! But the fact that it is that close says a lot.

Marlene, the way you described Kennedy is exactly the character he has been crafting for years. Nothing about it is genuine. Created just for the reality show we call life.
