I'm saving the podcast for "afternoon tea" (joke - I'm a java gal) but I did want to say thank you! Your intro to Duke above was a good read in and of itself. Enjoy your vaca. You will be missed.

Well, clearly, if I'm going to continue to read and listen to Greg (I am), I'm going to have to invest in one of those 32GB Kindles. "I enjoyed the camp, in fact. I met a real live Jew, and, as a Southern Baptist, I was able to interrogate him as to why his people had crucified Christ." HA! In the cart "Subversia" goes.... and "Banned for Life," and "Death Valley Superstars." As soon as I'm done with the new Stephen King, on to Duke Haney. Late summer reading is set!

What an enjoyable conversation to listen to. Duke's interests are inspiring.

Giving up arts in school is tragic to me. Kids need to see beauty, perform in a play, pretend, create....

Today I went to his social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook to tell him how much I enjoyed his book but they’ve been deactivated. I hope he is alright.
