I just followed your link to the March 2020 article on organized crime/mob connections. Fascinating! I wasn't a subscriber back then, so I missed this. I guess, if those pending indictments suddenly go "poof" and a few heads roll (just not his), we might connect even more dots to the CI angle. Given that he has chosen Mar a Lago as his compound, might we also expect numerous connections with the local mafia and its members in office down in Florida? No wonder Gaetz has been so hungrily lapping at the heels of The Don; he wants to be in on the action. I'll bet Sweet Boy Lindsey is worried more than a little bit - and McCarthy. Those trips to "play golf" are cover...and for what? Reading this makes me wonder more than ever now what REALLY happened to Epstein. And what is Barr's continued role in this whole mess?
I absolutely LIVE for these columns! And after the past week or two, with Repubs trying to gaslight history, I expected one like this, so thank you, Greg. I don't think the mental illness stops at the desk of Marge Greene, I think it's rampant in the Republican Party. The idea that there are several candidates for President in 2024 WAITING to see if T**** is going to run before they decide to is maybe the height of cultish and mentally ill behavior. Not that I care if any of them run -- until the day I die, I will never vote for another Republican again. Ever.
I'm looking forward to a January 6th Commission, and hopefully that gets through Congress. I want to read their Report like I read the 9/11 Commission's Report. Granted, there were some pieces missing from 9/11, but all in all, the Report was thorough and well-done. Hell, they made a TV movie out of it! I would be sad to read that January 6th was due to a "failure of imagination," however. Considering that *I* knew what was going to happen a week or two before it did just by lurking on thedonald.win, that's a reason that just isn't going to fly. Bring it!
