I've heard this book was coming down the pike and I was determined NOT to read it. The very idea of Ghislaine Maxwell makes my skin crawl, let alone Epstein. BUT, I will soldier though and buy this because people like Kirby Sommers must be supported in every way we can. The notion that we can continue to turn away from women being brutalized and discarded is something that we have to stop as a society -- it's the 21st century, not the 19th! I am also a white man; a white gay man, for that matter, and for as long as I am able, I will continue to speak out, and support women in any way I can. Ghislaine Maxwell should spend the rest of her miserable life in prison. Hope springs eternal.

Thank You Steve B! Getting these criminals out in the open for everyone to see and be held accountable. Like Jimmy Carter said, "Our overall commitment at The Carter Center is to promote human rights, and knowing the world as I do, I can tell you without any equivocation that the number-one abuse of human rights on Earth, strangely not addressed quite often, is the abuse of women and girls."

Yes, we must continue to shine a spotlight.

I know what you mean. She has the same effect on me. And I feel the same way you do. Thanks!

I read your previous article about the connection between Ghislaine and her "boyfriend/husband/whatever" in the shipping industry. At the end of it, when you brought in Elaine Chao and El Blobbo del Mar a Lardo, I began to see all sorts of other "connections" that might emerge via these House investigations. The "oligarchs" which included Epstein, Maxwell, Prince Andrew and who knows who else will be super motivated now to keep themselves out of the spotlight. It will be interesting to see who gets "outed" - one way or another - first.

Oh, totally. I don't fully understand it myself, although I have my theories. I think laying it out that way helps everyone (including me!) see the connections.

Thank you for being an ally, and believing women.

Thanks for saying that, but: If I can't do that, I have no business being here.
