My head is spinning…

My take-away: Russia has an inferiority complex. Victim mentality. Scarcity programming is universal in this world. It’s in our DNA. We all have to fight viciously to overcome this obstacle and to invite in the experience of abundance and joy. “Privilege” is a dirty word in certain circles, but it takes generations of struggle to achieve prosperity. We arrive at prosperity and “privilege” because we, and our ancestors, fight supremely hard to earn it.

My thought is the long desk is to protect him from a bomb or something similar. Remember Hitler's inner circle tried to kill him with a bomb under a desk.

He's scared to death of COVID, to an unnecessary point. COVID has been sewn into his ever-present paranoia about everything. It's also why his "Security Council" sits a football field away from him.

He wore a hazmat suit for a while in 2020.

That and it's harder to strangle him from 12 feet away.

This Covid story makes him look good. I now lean towards the “avoiding assassination” camp.

This person "Moscow Never Sleeps" is a real hero *and* great explainer of geopolitics. America needs to know these Truths about the Little Colonel

"(Fun fact: There was a four-year period of time when Putin did not put one military toe outside Russia’s borders to engage or intimidate his enemies. He barely even had any dissidents killed abroad during this interlude. For whatever reason, Vladimir Putin—who probably respected Colin Powell, tolerated Condoleezza Rice, ignored John Kerry, and came to a very Russian understanding with Rex Tillerson and Mike Pompeo—never took any chances when Hillary Clinton was the Secretary of State. More on Russian fixation on—and fear of—Hillary another time, but for now, I’ll just say Lizzo was right: we coulda had a bad bitch.)"

I saw Hillary on Rachel Maddow last night and she DID manage to keep the fully justified, always correct about everything attitude at a low simmer. She has LITERALLY been right about everything for the past several years. She's our Cassandra, although I've ALWAYS listened to her. She would have been a fine president.

Saw her, too! Impressive, thoughtful, right.

I didn’t read Hillary’s book about why she lost in 2016, but now I think it’s [in no particular order] (1) Putin’s disinformation campaigns because he hates her, (2) Republican Party targeting and hating her because she is a woman in her power, their nightmare, and (3) Trump is owned by Putin, and was complicit in her demise at every level. Notice a theme here? International sexism teamwork. It’s no wonder so many Republicans are pro-Putin. Mutual love of sexism.

And the media + Comey running that nothingburger story to death.

Comey was clearly complicit in her loss. Is he a Trump lover? I wouldn’t be a bit surprised.

Nice summary in the title: "KGB functionary, second banana, president, nationalist, dictator, strongman, mobster, murderer, conqueror, Botox enthusiast, war criminal, world pariah."

For a while now, I have been name calling the (former) GOP Putinistas. I had no idea the word was a thing until I read this. Looks like I made a good choice!

I shared this on FB and twitter. It's a good thing to "know thy enemy."

Looks like I'll just put Fiona Hill's Putin book down the list and wait for the updated edition. From what I'm seeing, he's not long for this mortal coil.

Also, I'm not Jewish, but "Steve Mnuchin’s shiksa" could not possibly be a better description of that woman. 😂

Too soft on tyranny. The time to save Ukraine is before they're choked out, not afterwards. The tide could be turned with Air Superiority and counter-battery strikes. Time for our jet pilots to earn their pay
