Also, I read "Grand Illusion," probably at your recommendation, and yes, Rudy has ALWAYS been a POS. I would LOVE to read the canned obituaries that major outlets have ready for his demise. They might each now have one employee just devoted to keeping up with that article. I used to predict where the "America's Mayor" thing would appear -- how many paragraphs in -- when Rudy was really doing the do during T****. Now, I wonder if it will appear at all.
