Greg, thanks very much for interviewing me; it was an enjoyable discussion. Your readers might find this documentary The Spider's Web, about Britain's off-shore tax-havens interesting. I'd say the whole film is essential viewing. I feature in it from 49 minutes, where the interviewer and me are harassed by Jersey's mafia-captured 'police-force' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=np_ylvc8Zj8&t=3207s
Stuart I just want you to know from me that you are doing world-class level work. I have so much respect and admiration for anyone fighting the global plutocracy. Now is a critical time, with the Panama Papers, with the new legislation that the Biden administration is pushing to end the abuse of offshore and shell accounts. You are an essential and critical part of this global movement, and I for one am hugely grateful.
Sending you all kinds of well wishes for ease and enjoyment in your mission, for success in your efforts, and for a treasure trove of support of every kind.
Ahh, Jersey. I sent 3 months there in 1981 doing an Zoo keeper internship at the Jersey Wildlife preservation trust. A Zoo brainchild of Gerald Durrell. Back then, I was too busy dealing with Neanderthal minded zoo brits to realise that that it was then, or soon to be, the home of ne’er do well gazzillionairs. BCk then the locals called themselves Jersey ‘Beans’, and the tourists were called ‘Grockals’. It was a lovely island full of very strange people, but that can be said of so many places. Especially, the British isles where i currently reside. I enjoyed your interview into it’s current happenings. 😳Many thanks!
It’s a swell place. You can see an opera while you are there. I missed my chance because my date fell off a tractor at the Zoo and broke both arms. Someday now that live across the pond I will return.....
I listened to the podcast and just read your article. Now I'm really interested in seeing the documentary. I have multiple streaming services and can't access any of the Storyville documentaries or BBC 4. Any suggestions?
I just have to say, it’s easy to mock and ridicule the Q wing of the Republican Party and just dismiss their beliefs out-of-hand as delusional ravings.
But consider this: look at how often child sex abuse enters the conversation. Clearly one element of this national and global problem of ultra rich people engaging in heinous activity includes their license to flout laws and morality. If you are born into super wealth, like royalty is, or if you get there on your own, like Cosby and Weinstein and Epstein, now you think you’re able to do whatever you want with impunity.
Goodbye morality. The Q people may not understand or explain it clearly, but they’re not completely clueless. You can’t just write off their story of the blood of innocents. The blood of innocents, and the mention of child sex rings in their story universe, is not without basis in fact.
Actually, I do think we should ridicule the whole Q*non/GQPs diversionary nonsense. Of course there are extensive and high-level child-abuse cases. There always has been, and they occur around the world. But trust me on this - as someone who actually uncovered just such a child-abuse situation - which impinged on the powerful - and I was obstructed and suppressed for doing so - Q*non is the kind of diversionary, fake - and ultimately discrediting garbage which damages and harms survivors of real abuse and real cover-ups, and real investigators who try to help them. That's one of the main reasons the real powers behind the whole Q thing have driven it. Q*non should be mercilessly and continuously condemned. Look at it this way, because of Q*non, an actual sex-trafficker and abuser - Donald Trump - nearly got re-elected - and then nearly succeeded in an insurrection.
Thank you, Stuart, for this clarification. Very nicely worded.
Q is a cult. Q is a perfect target for Russian disinformation and Republican politicians with dirty money-making agendas. We have discussed Q quite a bit here. I am certainly not trying to defend them, they are sheep who are easily led and easily misled. Adolf would be proud. (My parents grew up in Hitler’s Germany).
My point is directed at the element of their story which is based in truth, the link between super-wealth and sex trafficking. The Q people don’t understand the fine points, they just have a story about the big picture. In US mainstream media, the Q people and their stories are often ridiculed and dismissed. But you can’t dismiss or ridicule that link. Epstein and his associates, the work you are doing in Jersey, are the tip of the iceberg. So in that sense the Q people do have a clue, even if it’s misguided and they easily duped.
I could’ve left QAnon out of the discussion and just said this:
“The super wealthy think they can get away with anything, including sex trafficking and abuse of minors and sexual misconduct in orphanages. Fuck them. Jail them.”
One more thing, Stuart. I agree with you completely.
Let me be clear that where we have this discussion makes a difference. This is a discussion amongst friends. If you and I were being interviewed on TV, we would both be condemning QAnon and the abuse of those poor sheep in the strongest possible terms. But here, this is Greg’s living room, a small audience of like-minded friends airing their thoughts and grievances with each other.
I began writing an email to you, then decided to post it here.
Your investigation into shell companies is brilliant, just brilliant. Can’t stop reviewing this Jersey Off-Shores piece. Nice title.
Please excuse the non-stop rave reviews. I am just so thrilled to have a direct line into this extremely dark dirty subject which begs for attention.
You please me no end.
It’s so exceedingly clear that the filth from money laundering hiding in these off-shore (and on-shore: Delaware, Montana et al) shell company havens needs to be exposed.
The hideous-morality members of the super-rich class generally do not get their due. Epstein is one of the rare few. I am convinced he was off-ed by an associate because of blackmail material (kompromat) that he possesses. (who did the dirty deed?) I am equally convinced that his collection of blackmail material is tied to his wealth, à la Putin's coercive strategy for wealth accumulation.
The dirt and sleaze that drives the Republican Party, and Putin, is so needing of exposure. The dirt and sleaze hiding in shell companies: ditto. You are investigating both.
Your investigative journalism is unique, at least in my experience, wide-ranging, thorough, and rave-worthy.
Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you
Now where is that damn donation feature when you need it? Substack, WAKE UP!!
This might be the Kernel of Truth in the Q-fuckery. People should be aware -- mad props for this important article
Thank you, Greg. Britain set up this system of tax evasion islands hundreds of years ago.

You have to get a VPN and say you're in the UK and install the BBC viewer. So: it's possible but not easy. Hopefully it will stream here soon.
So far here’s what I have to say:
I’m not sending you enough money.
None of us are sending you enough money.
Anything less than an eventual six figure income for you, the absolutely necessary and just outcome of your efforts, is completely unacceptable.
I just have to say, it’s easy to mock and ridicule the Q wing of the Republican Party and just dismiss their beliefs out-of-hand as delusional ravings.
