Well said, thank you. Reminders that all roads lead to Putin are timely and appreciated. We need that quick, simple recognition of who's with us or who's not if we want to part the weeds to see more clearly. Keeping such a tight focus on the former guy and his grifts and tantrums, on and on, every day, every night ad nauseam, makes us lose sight of the bigger picture, that it IS a global struggle between light and dark. We've seen this before. Slava Urkraini
Thanks, Edna. We have indeed. And sometimes it's hard to see how it's all connected. But this is such a hurricane of evil that it's like when all the water was sucked out of Tampa Bay, and you could easily spot what was usually underwater.
Lots of great info on here. You definitely have a lot in common with Stephen King....I don't want to be inside either of your heads. Too scary in there! Seriously, you have given me ways to spot these Russia supporters, be they politicians or regular joe on the street. Have a happy and restful holiday!
The headline in the NY Post was pretty insulting, but if he decides Trump is cool again, he'll just nod, and none of the Fox News zombies will realize it.
Will be sharing this. This is why I continue to fly my little Ukraine flag right here in the heart of Dixie. Anyone who supports Russia is indeed unquestionably a villain.
There's still a really strong contingent of brainwashed Dr. Jill Stein fans who roam social media insisting that we who have come to Ukraine's defense are warmongers, resisting the united peace that Putin wants for his nation.
The 21st-Century has given us unprecedented insight into connections between all the world’s scum. This current decade in particular has been illuminating.
Thank you so much, Greg, for your brilliant work.
Christmas is nearly here. Another new year is about to begin. May each of us be immersed in the love and bounty of the goodness and good people in this community, in our lives, and in the world. May the goodness prevail.
LB and I have a bet about this. I don't think he will flee. He's always gotten away with everything, so why should he think this will be any different? A 78 year old schlub very set in his ways doesn't want to leave his resort with his omelet bar and well-done steaks.
Jared is gone, though. For all we know, he'll never come back from Qatar.
Imo, Jared may very well have been standing next to Elon saying, fuck, what’s HE doing here. I’m trying to appear like I’m just doing sports with my annoying family.
Now the father in law? I’m thinking he’ll have a golf cart accident. Or one of those undetectable heart attacks. Someone will save scraps of hair from the autopsy and sell it on eBay. His present wife will continue her affair with the vacuum salesman, oh wait, that’s Kari Lake.
The longer this goes on, the more people like MTG will know that gets them in deeper and deeper. Moscow will decide who is a real threat betcha. I don’t think they off stupid slobs like former guy. He leaves papers around. They seem to be afraid of the very righteous ones. Ivanka was about to publish her journals. I’d hate to be her editor. Where is Rosmary Vrablic?
Things are getting pretty damn intense. I fully expect one of the days to read a headline. I don’t know what it will be but it will be “that headline.” Maybe Jared will harikari?😳?
I have a recurring dream in which #MangoWanker Turdking is at a rally, pisses himself, and has a massive stroke...
Disabling and debilitating, unable to type or tweet, incontinent and helpless and unable to speak, fed through an IV and pooping into a bedpan, but fully aware of the prison hospital, for the rest of his life.
Thanks, William. Andrew Weiss on the podcast a few weeks ago explained why he thought Putin invaded now: Merkel stepping down in Germany (he figured the new guy would be more sympathetic), the US leaving Afghanistan (he figured that meant we didn't have any more appetite for foreign wars), and I can't remember the third one and can't find my notes, but I believe it had to do with something internal. He was wrong on all three. There was definitely SOME connection that hasn't been properly explained between the Ukraine and the Trump GOP...it was the ONLY CHANGE they made in the party platform in 2016, to make their policy more in line with Putin's.
Yes. It's all just too convenient. Coincidences do happen, but Putin is a long-term planner big-time. His biggest mistake in all of this is underestimating the outrageous kleptocracy of the oligarchs in charge of modernising the armed forces.
Speaking of 90-something years old skunks, look at the spin Henry Kissinger put on the Ukraine conflict. I can barely see daylight between his position and Musk's. Or Blinken's, sadly
Kissinger will be around until he sees the sunlight or Val Helsing stakes him.
I give a LOT of leeway to what Blinken says. He's got to appear a certain way, in that position. I go by what they DO, not what they say. And what they've done suggests that are in it for the long haul and won't stop until Putin is gone.
I don't know, Greg. You have to wallow in this stank because your job is to expose it, but doesn't a little part of you think it's time to start shootin' certain MFRs? Sorry if this crosses a line. Maybe "dispatching with extreme prejudice" is better.
I'm always learning something new from you, Greg. This time it was the medieval "Road to Canossa," which I had never heard of but, in this case, is a PERFECT description of McCarthy's trip to Mar-a-Loco. It's also sort of interesting that historians are still divided on whether Henry IV's trip to Canossa was a brilliant masterstroke, or a gigantic humiliation. I think McCarthy's trip will be easier to decide for historians, that is if they can decide if McCarthy is capable of humiliation.
The first inkling of who the traitors are in the case of Ukraine was when I began to hear rumblings a few months ago from the right, that we were spending too much money there. I guess the largesse of the US to help defend their allies became too much for them, what with all the signs pointing to supporting Putin from the likes of vermin like Marge Greene. It's unconscionable, and therefore, VERY Republican. Support ONLY to a point, then run away. Don't these guys ever get tired of being traitors? Will voters NEVER rid us of these meddlesome priests?
What the hell is Slenderman doing in Qatar? I doubt he made the trip to watch soccer. It's really JARRING to see him at all, let alone THERE. Had Mickelson said that FIFA was worse than Saudi Arabia, he might have been closer, but not by much. But, as usual, it's all about money, which of course, brings me back to Kushner and Musk at the World Cup. What are they doing there? The traitors indeed, are easy to spot.
Thanks, Steve. I forget where I came across it, but it is a SAYING, or so I read. So at one time it was quite famous, although even I don't recall the exact scenario. It's what Trump demands.
I think that with a lot of the GOP now in office, the need for fame and power overshadows all else: logic, decency, coherent policy positions, etc. The new crop, the MTGs and Bobos, all want to be famous. The older ones, your Rand Pauls and Ron Johnsons and MArco Rubios, well, who am I to say? But Paul especially is very good at suggesting "peace" or "engagement" as something "good." It's putting a pretty face on appeasement, and he's a miserable traitor.
I took it literally and looked it up to find a whole story about Henry IV going to Canossa to see Pope Gregory in 1077, and apparently knelt outside the gates for three days in a driving blizzard to try to get the pope to reverse his excommunication. And long story short, it worked. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_to_Canossa
I can't WAIT to see how Zelenskyy is welcomed (FINALLY, and without having to do anybody a favor, though) in Washington on Wednesday. Maybe McCarthy will do his fake smile face like he did at the unveiling of Nancy Pelosi's portrait. Ugh! Miserable.
I doubt Slenderman is allowed to find accommodations anymore with 666 Fifth Avenue on his resume', so Ivanka might have been house-hunting while he spent time with the pasty whale and all the Qataris.
I find Paul Ryan LOATHSOME to the nth degree. He most reminds me of some kind of Jared shadow or visa versa. I don’t know why. The Kushner’s may have HAD to be in Qatar. Bet they were invited to come. You can’t turn that down when you have become best friends. It doesn’t sit well with the tent parties out in the desert at night. The Qataris are much smart than Jared. Ivanka may be planning her escape with the children tho. She’s her father’s daughter, she knows danger when she smells it. I don’t think Noel Casler ever accused her of being not-clever.
Another thing, aside from Jared being invited and being “obligated” in that tribal or death way to attend Qatar, the tension among Arab interactions there is unbelievably complicated. I’ve known Arabs who change costumes from a Qatari one to an Egyptian one to accomplish certain tasks. It’s MINDBLOWING to watch and listen to the role playing, subservience and behavior that goes on. EVeryone is in someone’s pocket. If you come from the Philippines to work as a nanny, you can’t just “go home,” after you’re raped.
That tracks with their general attitude of the world. I'm sure they'd be most happy on their own sand planet with no one else allowed. "Dune" must be a big hit in the Middle East!
Yeah, I remember when NYT came out with the story of the handwritten ledger from Ukraine that revealed payments of something like twelve millions dollars to Paul Manafort, who was then Trump's campaign manager. Ukraine? Huh? Manafort? Huh? It's taken this long for an untraveled, slow learner way outside the power structure citizen like me to make sense of any it. Still...Ukraine? WTF?
No kidding. Putin has been planning this theft of Ukraine for a decade or more, and the key to success was prising the USA out of NATO. Trump was the flawed tool that came along

Thanks, Nancy, for the compliment. My head isn't so scary. There's mostly dumb jokes, Simpsons references, and football statistics. Happy holidays!
Greg, Yes, it is easy to detect POS every place where Saudi money is located. It is a magnet for scumbags.
They just can't help themselves. The problem is, with MbS, the awfulness over there is harder to ignore.
MbS oozes villainy and avarice, a mirror of Putin in fact, but without any actual army.
Did Rupert really repudiate chump, seems like he’s still hedging his bets. Breaking up is so hard to do…
The headline in the NY Post was pretty insulting, but if he decides Trump is cool again, he'll just nod, and none of the Fox News zombies will realize it.
The sick monster Rupert Murdoch has done more to destroy civilisation than anyone since Hitler and Stalin. All for money and ego.

Truly one of the stupidest humans to ever hold a position of power. Even his text messages are dumb.
Trump probably thought he was a genius.

Thanks, McLain. Keep that flag flying!

I'm taking my baby over to Ukraine so that Zelensky can personally assign them 72 genders. And then get them registered to vote in Florida.

Amen, Roland. Amen. Let 2023 be the year.
As always, spot-on, Gregg.
This is still clear, from March 2022.
My theory of Trump-Putin plan to grab Ukraine
(including the PRIMARY reason for the treasonous Jan 6th insurrection)
1. Putin and the Russian mob have been lusting after the resources of Ukraine for years.
Yanukovich failed. Even better if there are NO UKRAINIANS LEFT to interfere with the mob's rape
of Ukraine. Thus, the ongoing GENOCIDE.
2. To successfully steal democratic Ukraine, NATO must be neutralised or weakened
significantly.
3. Seeing an opportunity in 2015 to get a Russian stooge, Trump, into the White House would mean a possibility of prising the USA out of NATO.
4. The long term planning was set for early 2022 to invade Ukraine.
5. However, Trump flubbed it and lost.
6. So by any means possible, including insurrection, false electors, ballot ninja shenanigans etc,
Trump (and many, many GOP and Russian-paid or blackmailed agents) must get another crack
at getting the USA out of NATO before the tanks roll.
7. Trump continues to serve his master, the Russian mob, to this day, still trying to overturn the
election, but just too late.
8. Note that Trump will surely flee to Moscow before being quietly arrested in the USA, but not as a Hero of the New Putin USSR.
.
.
.
I can picture Ivanka in her chinchilla coat in Russia. I cannot picture Donald.
LB and I have a bet about this. I don't think he will flee. He's always gotten away with everything, so why should he think this will be any different? A 78 year old schlub very set in his ways doesn't want to leave his resort with his omelet bar and well-done steaks.

Does power lead to insanity.
Putin like others was a successful organixed crime mobster. But then he left reality in a fatalistic dream to be Valdimir "The Great."
But his grave will never be near Catherine's or Peters.
He's more Ivan IV. Like, a LOT more. When Ivan croaked, Russia was a shitshow for two decades.
Yep
