I must say, the Classics major in me loves that you invoked Antoninus Pius!

I seem to remember that the Soviets had a nuclear waste dump that blew up a secret city, yes?

Fantastic article, Greg. I was so hoping the UK would've done a second referendum on leaving the EU, since it seems lots of low information voters cast a "leave" vote without truly comprehending what it would mean. Still waiting for Scotland to secede from the UK...

One of the major geopolitical consequences of Trump's "presidency" is the rise of a multipolar world with a lot of bad autocratic actors: Xi, Putin, etc. If the U.S. fails to bring leadership to the global order, the world can easily destabilize and democracies the world over will be under threat.

History repeating...the Trump and Putin agreement lasts as long as Trump can grab and hold power. This means that all parties to this particular agreement will be trying their very best to keep Trump in the White House through whatever means necessary.

I’ve heard that Trump et al is “bribing” and by “other means” the Electoral College representatives in all red states to keep their vote on the Republican side no matter how the popular vote goes...Brexit and the stolen 2016 election will be child’s play in contrast to their current machinations to keep “America in chaos” going, and their agent Trump, master at chaos, in our White House.
