Yes, so interesting! I can equate this concept to the high end real estate market. To watch citizens from other countries plunk down millions and millions of dollars for an apartment in New York or a “compound” in L.A., or countless other places in the U.S., I know they are using those transactions to divert that money from their countries’ government. It’s not just an “investment “. I also feel like there are puppet masters controlling the stock market. They are playing a game of chess with each other and those of us who invest are just pawns in their game.
Can’t wait for this. While you’re on arachnids, have you read David Enrich’s book The Spider Network? Oy.🤯
Following the corruption involved in large money transactions, corruption, and it’s many trails, is fascinating! Thanks for the heads-up Greg.
Only wish more people paid attention to the going’s on in this world!
Thank you, Greg
Once again, a brilliant article about the mental illness of greed.
Until advanced societies treat GREED as a mental illness, they will be unstable, and will soon destroy themselves.
But don't worry, after man is gone, the earth will heal itself in 100,000 years or so.

I completely agree, William! Greed is such a destructive mental illness.
This is fascinatingly awful to learn, but not surprising in the least.
