I’m not sure who this law professor & venture capitalist are, but I would suggest that they are MAGAidiots or on drugs, or both. Someone needs to do an intervention. Brother!

That's the thing: they are neither. We are through the looking glass.

Definitely BIDEN all the way. Maxine Waters and all the rest of the rational people know this. I’m incredibly impressed with your cleverness, though. Thank you, Greg, for this fabulous takedown of popular culture. You’re a genius!

That is hilarious, Greg! I'm proposing that Donald Trump choose his VP by holding a live PPV event where the VP hopefuls bite the heads off of live baby bats. The fastest bite. The person who gets most bites from the bat gets the VP slot! No reason that could not be adopted for Dem Presidential candidates!

On another note, I think we need to start questioning the mental health and work ethic of our media betters. Didn't any of the "reporters" know that Biden's physical results were posted in February? If they had questions about the number of visits by the one doctor did they even consider finding out what possible scenarios would entail a doctor visiting the White House? Why did this O'Keefe person have to bully the WH press secretary with answers that he could have had if he had even half way done his job? Why does the White House Press Corps have to act like rabid jackals?

They want fascism. We have the right to challenge their work habits and character.

I suggest we give Kathleen a big stick and let her whack stupid questioners at the next press conference. Ed O'Keefe gets whacked anytime anyone gets whacked for any reason. Simple justice can be a beautiful thing.

Yes, and contrast that with how reporters dropped anything about trump's ill health, including the rampant RX use in the White House, his midnight ride to Walter Reed, how he always bought the covid farm, and those thugs he sent to steal his medical records. Also, his doctors were clearly just making shit up.

There is another problem that hasn’t had too much exposure, thank goodness. If Biden is unfit to run, which by all REAL metrics he is not unfit, regardless of a 90 minute debate when he was so ill they did a COVID test, and he had not fully recovered from jet lag, should he drop out, the GOP insanity machine will go to Warp Factor 9.9 demanding the 25th Amendment be activated. They’ll say if he’s not fit to run, he’s not fit to serve out the next 6 months. Of course they would be counting on the resulting chaos to diminish the scary Black lady, who would be then be president during that time. Putin would be popping so much champagne we’d hear it here.

My thinking is that, if Biden does yield to the pressure and bow out, he has to REALLY bow out, and hand her the car keys. They'll find fault with that too, but how can they really? At least we wouldn't be making the catastrophic mistake of ceding the incumbency, the greatest advantage we have.

My impulse is to stay with the guy I went to the dance with & let him take me "home" ..with his entire entourage...umm I mean "administration." If my " date," for any reason, couldn't drive me home ( too "tipsy"or overwhelmed by the sparkle of my party dress) I'd have one or two of his sober "buddies" drive me home, providing they were not "tipsy, " I knew them to be of good character & could drive me from point A to B satisfactorily. Better than going home with some drunk thug..or someone lacking a moral compass.

Trump wouldn't take you home. Too much effort. Speaking of parking lots and cars, true story: the character of Biff in "Back to the Future" is based on Trump!

LOL!! True!

I can believe Biff is based on trump. A Supreme, self entitled, (mentally & physically) lazy, amoral a$$hole of a movie character. They had to base it on someone.

I used to do that until I realized I was still supporting them by seeing their ads. I found a free ap that took a bit of getting used to, finding the way through the first few screens, but it’s easier to see-bright colors and larger letters on the phone screen and you can play more than once a day.

Greg, this column was absolutely brilliant! I can imagine you whipping this out as the thoughts came to you as in a dream and you did it all without using expletives. It made me laugh but also zeroed in on the seriousness and arrogance of some Dems. Did you hear that Adam Schiff joined in and said Biden should step aside? I am so angry that I could spit fire. He’s running for Senator in CA where I live and he’ll win against Steve Garvey. I hate it when semi-intellectuals jump on an Repub bandwagon!

Yes, it's so disappointing. My Congressman, Mike Quigley, also jumped on the bandwagon. My district was changed so now I'm stuck with him. I'm so disgusted with him. I emailed him about my disappointment (in some colorful words) and he came out yesterday with a "cheerleader" comment that just added insult into injury. Hopefully, he will have a primary challenger next election. Adam Schiff is much more difficult to deal with since he will most likely be your Senator. Unless this whole debacle results in Dems losing down ballot, which I'm sure is just one of the things that Republicans are hoping for.

The worst thing about this -- and the genius of it, if you're the Kremlin -- is that it won't end. Because he keeps getting older.

Thank you, Marlene. Schiff is more concerning than all the others put together. He's in with big California donor money. But that also maybe explains why he did what he did.

You're a "wild and crazy guy," Greg Olear...I like it!

For my part, just to put a last cap on it (I hope): I am of the conspiracy theory that First Lady Jill Biden has firsthand knowledge of President Biden's medical status. I believe if there is a medical there there, she knows about it and would use her influence to dissuade him from running - because she loves him and wants the best for him. My humble opinion.

P.S. I recently received an email from the Biden/Harris campaign asking me to donate $81 to re-elect the president and vice president. $81? What a hoot!

You know, I like that point a lot, Lynell. Karen Pence never wanted Mike to get involved with Trump. And we know how excited Melania was to be First Lady. That Jill is in it to win it speaks volumes.

Laughter is the best medicine and I really needed this! I feel like I have stepped into an Alternate Universe. It's as if the entire media world got together and said, "Okay, here's what we're going to do. We're going to keep pounding home that Biden is old. Maybe he has Parkinson's? Maybe something else? Who knows? It could be ANYTHING! Something is really wrong because he's old. That way we can distract from all the truly scary stuff the Republicans are proposing and people won't have the energy to even notice. Everyone has been so mean to Trump. We have to give him a break. We'll create all this chaos and confusion and make tons of money in the meantime. Is everyone in?" I'm so disgusted with the "replace Biden" storyline. I am in shock with the amount of people jumping on the bandwagon. I am 100% in support of Biden/Harris. I do not have a shred of doubt about President Biden's ability to continue leading our country. And to replace him at this point in time will result in our peril. Guess who knows that best? The entire Republican party. So choose carefully.
