"You can’t easily negotiate with the one country that’s keeping everything flowing around the world." Remember at the beginning of the pandemic (the beginning as WE know it, when it finally leaked out to us) when individuals bought up warehouses of toilet paper and none was available to the general public? I made individual, two layered, cotton masks to give away in exchange for toilet paper. This was a temporary solution to a temporary problem, thank goodness, as my labor compared to the cost of the roll was basically a complete waste (no pun intended ) of time and the quality wasn't all that good.

In reading this, one name came to mind: Elaine Chao.
