Lovely. Thank you. I think of that centered fixed "leg" of that compass and the words "keep the faith" keep flashing. I would say more about other less elevating analogies, but since they are less elevating, I won't ruin this beautiful poetry by sharing them!
That such an astute political observer and writer is sensitive to such works of art… this is why I come back here day after day. I love when men are able to cry at beauty.
For me, it’s listening to Erbarme Dich from the St. Matthew Passion (Bach) or reading out loud specific chapters from Khalil Gibran etc. etc. etc.
When a work of art can part the veils between worlds and hold it open for a fleeting eternity…
Thank you, Greg. ❤️
...we are lucky to be alive at this moment in history... my new mantra...
❤️
We are simply prevailing.

Yes. Keep the faith. It's all we can do!
I feel that way too, dear Greg. You're my teacher now.
Beautiful

“I love when men are able to cry at beauty.” I married such a man long ago, a passionate lover of Khalil Gibran. Fleeting eternity indeed.
The Stendhal Effect.
Thank you. I love Bach's Mass in B Minor...it's one of the best.
Maybe I should repeat that last sentence 500 times a day. Like kids having to write sentences on the blackboard
It's true. It really is.
