Lovely. Thank you. I think of that centered fixed "leg" of that compass and the words "keep the faith" keep flashing. I would say more about other less elevating analogies, but since they are less elevating, I won't ruin this beautiful poetry by sharing them!

That such an astute political observer and writer is sensitive to such works of art… this is why I come back here day after day. I love when men are able to cry at beauty.

For me, it’s listening to Erbarme Dich from the St. Matthew Passion (Bach) or reading out loud specific chapters from Khalil Gibran etc. etc. etc.

When a work of art can part the veils between worlds and hold it open for a fleeting eternity…
