I’m too much of a blues/jazz kat, to have listened to either, in a world filled with such plangency! But-damn…what an interesting and insightful piece Into the “Ye”, trou de cul world! Good on Taylor, I respect her words read here. One hell of an entertaining 5-8, per usual, namaste, thanks for all you do!!
My 15 year old daughter idolizes Taylor Swift the way only a teenager can. We stayed up for "Midnight" to drop (only 11pm in Chicago!). She played the first song for me and I thought it was really good - really GOOD! I prefer to listen to music on the radio so I'll hear the rest of the songs as time goes on. As for Kanye, I actually feel really sorry for him - he consistently makes a fool of himself. A mentally ill person with lots of money is a very dangerous thing. He will eventually implode unless he has an epiphany. I never thought I would listen to anything Joe Walsh or Liz Cheney had to say but now I occasionally pay attention to them.
I didn’t know much about this subject, but I do now. I read the People Magazine article you shared. So, Kanye is more of a POS that I originally thought and that goes for Kim Kardashian.
Your comments on world stuff are always entertaining. 🎼❤️🎶I was a Beatles and Leonard Cohen fan and then in the 80’s stopped noticing the current song culture. I forgot to have children so no younger generation is in the immediate vicinity obsessively playing any new tunes. I am now the target audience for Noel Coward 78 RPM records and Danny Kaye novelty tunes . We are a small but fierce group. My current bumper sticker reads - Don’t get even - get odd.

Thanks, Patrick!
For a short glimpse of TS at her best, there's this:

On the Five8, Howie King's "My Spy" background music makes Chunk's amazing work that much better!
As she sings in “Karma:” “Ask me why so many fade but I’m still here.”
Kanye West has a song named "Fade." Haha.
It's definitely about him.

Not a topic I would normally care about, but this was good. And so is Taylor Swift!
Is she related to Vicente Hernandez?

Billie, Ella and Bessie would likely be proud of her and the bounce!
