A book came to my attention a few years ago about Attila the Hun. It was written from the point of view that The Huns were not the murderous brutes they have been portrayed to be. It proposed the idea that they helped develop civilizations throughout their years of travels. I only read the first chapter but it was a very interesting point of view. This particular book invited the reader to look at things from a different point of view than history has perpetuated. A very interesting topic!
Sunday Pages: "The World of the Huns"
Love it. And a nice wrap at the end.
Had no idea that the Huns could hold any interest for me. Look forward to your eclectic columns, always a germ to tweak the neurons

Loved the way you pinned the tail at the end! LOL!
Great post, Greg. It reminded me of an equally great novel by Elizabeth Kostova called The Historian.
