I was driving home from a hair appointment listening to MSNBC. Mika interrupts Joe for a change & it was called! I knew it was going to come but hearing it was so emotional & such a release I sobbed. Sobbed so much I went the wrong way coming home & didn’t realize it until 15 minutes later. A route I’ve taken for over 25 years.

The calls from others poured in. We laughed and sobbed together.

The nightmare was over.

Democracy won.

The world celebrated with us.

Thank you Greg for all your words of inspiration over these years of hate. You never wavered. We Shall Prevail. We did! It’s over.

The Republic stands.

I love it! I love these stories. We will all remember where we were.

In my bedroom sanctuary on Saturday, on Greg Olear and HCR in the Comments when it was called.

Friday, when it first hit me, in the Peppermill Casino-Hotel in Wendover, Utah. Not a gambler, I was on the job, rooming for the night.

What a historical coincidence. Fat Man and Little Boy were tested in Wendover, a very remote site selected for secrecy reasons, before those crews in the Enola Gay and Bock's Car vaporized 80,000 souls in Hiroshima and 40,000 in Nagasaki.

...Guilliani...between a dildo store and mortuary, Jeesis h!

Seriously, in my ‘hood there will be no honking of horns but I will be altering my hundred lb. chained to a tree to protect from (further) attacks homemade ‘BIDEN’ sign to incorporate American flags and an addendum: “God Bless America and”. ‘I’m not cryin’-you’re cryin’!”

Thank you, Greg, for the sustenance you’ve contributed to my ability to #Resist.

Oh, I’ve been in your neighborhood. My first wife has Boston blue blood heritage, so she has a grandmother with a spread on North Haven. Been there a handful of times in my 20s when I lived in Boston. I’ve been to the L.L. Bean tourist shop fwiw. Visited upstate New York a few times too just not New Paltz.

Your personal missive brings me to tears. Again. Tears of joy. From New Paltz to Echo Park to Grass Valley, let the joy flow. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the photos and the words.

Drive past / through Echo Park four times a week, twice coming and twice going. It’s a small world and we’re all part of it. Dodgers win and Trump out with Joe and Kamala in. What could be sweeter for them.

Slept like a rock (unaided by otc drugs) for the first time in 4 years last night. Words can't describe my relief. My sisters & I watched Kamala's & Joe's speeches in grateful tears. As an avowed snail-mail nerd, I participate in something called "Postcards to Voters" by Tony the Democrat, so going to be busy making & sending postcards to voter addresses in Georgia for the Dr. Raphael Warnock & Jon Ossoff run-off elections on 5 Jan.

New detail on "The Four Seasons Presser" from WaPo: "...And a pair of Trump’s most loyal surrogates made a defiant stand on the gravelly backside of a landscaping business in an industrial stretch of Northeast Philadelphia, near a crematorium and an adult-video store called Fantasy Island, along State Road, which leads — as being associated with Trump sometimes does — to a prison."

Additional high hilarity: "...The (tRUmp) campaign set up a fraud hotline, which was eventually swamped with prank calls...." 😁😆😂🤣

YES! And that first picture really says it all, "DAMN GOOD DAY." The Four Seasons Total Landscaping press conference can't help but go down in infamy. I can't even with that. ONLY Rudy Giuliani would approve a booking like that: "See how President Trump supports small business?" From "America's Mayor" to "America's Crazy Uncle Nobody Should Ever See Again" in just 20 years.

It took me awhile, but it just hit me: they found a place that is free, I assume Trumpsters own the joint and offered them the use of it. They're penny pinching! They're being super stingy!!

Just love that it says "bitches" on the VP Harris/Harriet Tubman pix...Betting Harris's election hurts as deliciously as being beat by Sleepy Joe. Wearing a Grinch wide smile since yesterday morning and will never forget this iconic day. Everyone better just let Stacey Abrams win GA...

yes, I loved seeing "bitches" too!!

While we celebrate, be aware that the Commander in Thief is on steroids so that makes him a more dangerous criminal and looter. Who will stop him from more giveaways to cronies and other Treasury Looters. Let’s celebrate when he is in prison.

A little bit stunned. A little bit numb. A bit of a zombie. That’s me this weekend. I’m in a state of disbelief. I can’t believe this nightmare is over, despite the massive amount of evidence. There is a CNN article on my smartphone app with the title “Biden’s win was more decisive than you think.” Five perfectly competent journalists contributed to that fine article, but the producer who created that garbage title should be demoted or fired. The correct title would’ve been “Biden and Harris’s win was just as close as it looked.” Or better yet, “We just averted having the first dictatorship in our nation’s history.“ Now THERE’S a seemingly clickbait-worthy, tabloid-worthy, sensationalist title for a news article! Only just like the narrative of the past four years, which we all would’ve sneered at or criticized as implausible in 2015 if it were a novel or a movie, it’s actual history.

A little bit stunned. A little bit numb. A bit of a zombie.

We did just avert having our first dictatorship, hobbled and somewhat restricted though it might’ve been.
