But even if he wasn't...in a two-party system, a vote for a third party candidate is the same as a vote for the candidate you like the least. I wish it weren't that way, but that's how it is. It's baked into our political system. I voted for Nader in 2000. I've been down that road before. Never again.

It is quite amazing that all of these people are able to keep track of each other through all the corruption, backroom deals, and grift -- especially the grift. Putin will be 71 on Saturday and you'd think that at some point he'd want to retire and try to enjoy his ill-gotten riches. But no. My sister went to Armenia this summer with a friend, renting a house overlooking Mt Ararat. They tried to get into Azerbaijan but only allowed to enter with guided 3 language group tours with hardly any free time, which was not an option for them. She is a linguist and says that the Armenian language is almost illegible compared to her many other known languages, including Russian, Greek, Bulgarian and Albanian. The grammar is similar but the words are totally different. Their rented home will probably be refugee housing now. Poor Armenia 🇦🇲
Just mention trump and putin in the body of your story along with religious intolerance and you get an instant disaster read. Horrible to go along with all the other horrible in the world. Bah humbug!
