I still believe that the Mueller Investigation was ended far sooner than it might/should have and that the report that was handed over to Bill Barr and Rosenstein was unfinished, but also that Barr et al removed pertinent portions of it so it was virtually toothless. Mueller couldn’t, for whatever reason say what happened being read into the law when it comes to special investigations and the resulting report..as it is suppose to be turned over to the Attorney General, who would then turn it over at his pleasure or not to Congress. Who would contemplate that the AG was corrupt, or that foreign powers would have a hold of the White House in such a way that the Russian mafia would dictate next steps.
Michael Flynn was a problem for the Obama White House long before Trump showed up in the scene, he had been furious at the stance Obama took about foreign affairs and his attitude and behaviour while head of national security service reflected a man who had gone wacky. In fact, many of the employees complained that Flynn was not himself, he had issued orders that hadn’t been in effect for decades ie dress code for women especially, but for men also. It’s a small thing, but, taken with everything else showed Obama that Flynn’s cheese had slipped off the cracker...
The main reason for firing Flynn was that he was no longer effective at that level of power, the Obama WH said in their statement, but Flynn had already basically defected, his loyalty switched to the other side, first Turkey, then Ukraine, finally to Russia. When Trump came onto the scene in 2015 to declare his run for presidential nominee, Flynn was ready, he and Jeff Sessions with their buddy Bannon jumped on the Trump ship, when Trump won the nomination, it was Flynn and Manafort and Sessions who attended the first national security briefing, as it was presented Flynn was the one who denied that the report by American CIA, and other intel agencies was correct, his group had to tell Flynn to be quiet during that session. This should have been the moment when we were clued in that Trump and his gang were not campaigning in good faith, were in fact traitors to America...and now we know. How deep, how much of our national secrets are known to Trump’s puppet masters- we will find out very soon, hopefully.
Trump is now on his last few months as puppet president, he has failed USA but not his foreign handlers who wanted USA ruined, looking inward, in complete chaos..in that respect Trump has completed his task. But to us boomers, who knew Trump as a faker, a failure, having failed at every job he ever had, Trump, true to form, has failed at being president, failed at gaining respect from those he was always seeking respect from, his enemies. Let him and Flynn have a very long life in prison, with no luxuries, no company, just bare walls and emptiness, as they would have left America- stripped of her valuables; her people in shambles.
