As a retired person, I pay attention to my pennies. I've canceled The New York Times, The New Yorker, and other sources, while keeping The Washington Post (I'm a sucker for their tagline "Democracy Dies in Darkness," I guess). And I will keep my subscription to you, Greg, because you always make me think twice about my perceptions and opinions and you write clearly, and often humorously, about the unfolding tragedy that is this nation's current history. I look forward to your future observations on this impeachment process because, while you dash cold water on my hopes sometimes, you continue to fan the fires of possible justice. I think I just mixed my metaphors. Oh well. Thanks for these furious questions. Some have already been answered to a degree. Let's see what happens with the rest!
PS. I hope Trump resigns. Then I hope we get to lock him up. He needs to be held accountable.
How can the GOP attack and control the process? My guess is they will talk about Hunter Biden for 23.95 of those 24 hours, but I am interested to see what else these dimwits come up with.(article)

If faced with certain humiliation, and public loss of narrative and esteem, he will do what he has always done in his 70 years on earth—run away and play the victim. Trump is, above all else, a coward. Resignation is the coward’s way out. I expect him to take it—but I’ve been wrong before.
