He should be held accountable for his crimes, but I fear that he will get away with them as he has his entire life. No wonder people have lost faith in our government. We need to cleanse our system of greedy people who want only power & money, and do not seek to help all our people to thrive. We need to vote them out. Then we need to truly educate our youth so they can understand our past & elect those who will strive to better our country. Right now I fear we are headed in the wrong direction.
Truly educating our youth is exactly what Republicans don’t want. Hence the national effort to silence, intimidate & bully teachers. Their efforts to defund public education has been years in the making. There’s their long time efforts to equate private schools with public so they can indoctrinate children away from public eyes and funds. Their long & constant attacks on higher education. Referring to universities as liberal and brainwashing the weak-minded fox zombies to repeat their lies so they send their children to “Christian” colleges & universities. Lest we forget, the re-writing and whitewashing of school books produced and published in Texas. And the latest & greatest attack on education? Outright banning books that teach anything that is counter to their desired narrative of white supremacy and sensitivity. Republicans and Fox News (1) should all be flushed into that sewer with the documents Trump tried to destroy. Or better yet, I’d love to see them all in the giant shit-hole maw that’s right in the middle of his face and watch while he chews them into chum until he eventually swallows it all down leaving nothing in his wake but the few decent Republicans that still exist.

It would explain why he spent so much time on his golf courses. His favorite place to deliver a criminal message was probably on the golf course because nobody was listening in and there were no records made. No documents = no evidence. No audio recordings (à la Zelensky and Raffensberger) = no evidence.
Golf courses are popular with rich/famous people because they can be outside with their friends and no one will bug them. So it stands to reason. AND he was getting paid by the taxpayer on every visit!
