Fun: I love this one! And I’m not reading another word without ☕️!

I’ve been asking about those DC pipe bomb videos since I first heard her talk: MTG. And I can’t wait to read the comments. Bravo, Greg!

The only thing crazier than Threetoes being the pipe bomber is if there really is stuff buried with Ivana on the back nine.

Expand full comment

Does she have three? On one or both feet? Then the evidence with Ivana 6-feet under isn’t so crazy. Brings a new meaning to both Bed and Minster.

Do you think DOJ may be investigating some or all of these on the QT?

I have no idea.

Love a good list, and love that this list is only Part 1. Appreciate your presenting it in such a non-judgemental way, I'm weary of the constant belittling phrases like "no one is paying attention to this".

We are paying attention and we have not forgotten, but one can only run on indignation, outrage and anger for so long, so this reminder is most welcome. And I'm real sorry the DOJ has it's hands full, but if they can't take the heat or stand the pressure, we should transfer them and their box of donuts to speed trap duty in some backasswards backwater. Or in the case of the Secret Service, fire them all and start over.

I'm sure there are things I missed. These were just off the top of my head.

There really IS a staffing issue with this stuff. They don't have enough people to investigate and indict all of these crimes.

Greg, thanks for the reminders! There was so much going on during the trump years that was a travesty, pure bull$#!+ & most likely illegal. I recently mentioned to someone about the Helsinki meeting between trump & putin and how after their " private" conversation, putin came back looking like a giddy school girl after her first kiss. Trump looked like he'd been taken to the woodshed & beaten severely in the woodshed..above the head & shoulders. Hmm..go figure!

The remaining questions of the “45” years???

We know the players, the celerity of Justice Departments actions have continued to define a broken system!Therein lies the rub, could a truly just, Justice Department allow the placement of a career mountebank, Concrete Cartel mobster, to be voted into the highest office in the land, sans any sort of intervention?

When was the harrying of truth/justice, ever so maddening to those of us who know much of little Elvis’s history?

Far too many questions about the things we know to be fact, not enough investigation, nor indictments of the numerous venal players we know to be involved!

Excellently crafted and well categorized piece Greg!!

The State maga forces for legislative voter & vote suppression, including mass disqualifications of individuals, proofs of citizenship & gerrymandering are just the legal, above the line demonstration of the battle going on right now to keep the power of the vote that simple. Yes, all private money has to be kept out of our politics & elections. It would be the most progressive achievement imaginable & could lead to actual qualifications that have to be met before anyone could run for office. Physical health, mental & emotional health & capabilities plus knowledge & understanding of our governments & constitutional values should be required. Or sociopathic guttersnipes will continue to defile our temples of democracy.

I’ve found Michael Cohen to be credible, and he seems to me to be a truly changed man. What you bring up is an interesting wrinkle. The other swamp characters, though, are the kinds of criminals a powerful criminal attracts to his inner circle.

Me too, to a point, but he was involved with a LOT of dark shit.

I find Michael Cohen more like the various turncoat Mafia thugs who populate a different niche in the online universe. He may have gone straight but thanks to having his life-view shaped by his times at his uncle Morty Levine's mobster-infested Caribe Club, he's still as Soprano-associate as they come. But I'm glad he has a family to love him, I'm sure he deserves it from them.

Born in 1950, I got my k - 6 education when the US was at the zenith of its powers, capabilities & ostensible competence in furthering our liberal values. So to me the failure of our DOJ to pursue these evidences of serious existential crimes against America's foundations is outrageous but an outrage we'll have to leave to the real historians to correct. Learning to swallow our own bile is one of the challenges of growing up and we deserve to taste it.

"Unsolved Mysteries of the Trump Years" could very well be a series on History Channel or MSNBC. You've outlined well the first six episodes. Of course, some of these are not as mysterious as we like to think. We just need investigations to verify what we already know to be true.

There is no reason whatsoever to think anything but the worst of Trump and his motives and actions. I recently watched a documentary series from History Channel called, "The Trump Dynasty," and in almost four and a half hours, I never heard even ONE good thing that Trump had done in his life -- not one. You'd think with in non-partisan documentary covering ALL of the Trump family over the course of 70 years, one would hear at least one good thing, but no, not a one. No charity, no patriotism, no caring for anyone but himself/themselves. And the one person in the family, Fred, Jr., that wasn't cut out for the vileness of Fred and his shitty business, ended up drinking himself to death because his father and Donald made him feel like a failure.

The DOJ can't indict this monster fast enough or hard enough.
