Many thanks, Greg, for introducing me to Zarina Zabrisky, American war correspondent in Ukraine. Her reporting needs to be spread as widely as possible to educate us all about the need to continue funding the resistance. The sound clip reminded me of my darling Mum’s description of the terrifying whistling noise which preceded the bombing during the London Blitz.

Zarina, thank you for continuing to report this vital information. I will be sharing it with everyone I know. The destruction of beautiful Ukraine is absolutely devastating. I keep Ukraine and you and your safety in my thoughts.

Excellent reply Gail, sharing Zarina’s insightful reporting, as Greg has done with us, should be done by everyone here!!

The last I read Zarina she was fighting her way through the clinging odor of murdered Ukrainian citizens at the scene of another Moscow war crime, shallow graves full of horror with a compelling presence in the immediate past, her present and into the near future. Frankly, it is not something that one witnesses for a few moments but for a lifetime. My respect for her sacrificing part of her life so that the truth can be known and validated.

On the opposite end of that spectrum are the reactionary GOP House members, the loathsome scum of the money grubbers of this nation. The need a long, deep breath of the deaths they support openly for a foreign madman. How much money did that take? How much human dignity did that erase, if indeed, there was any remaining in their own tainted bodies? Do the dark figures behind them emit similar odors in their connivance to murder comity?

Those human renegades should be asked every single day by every single reporter in Washington DC why they support Putin, by every citizen of their districts of why they have succumbed to such evil. At the moment it may be the volume of money that is important to them, the holds on their personal secrets via kompromat, but every reporter and every member of their district should be asking, filling the air with the question as lethal as the bombs in Kherson: when did you become a traitor to America?

I’m rather dubious of the corporate controlled MSM, questioning the treasonous GOP, about much of anything regarding Putin’s heinous attacks on Ukraine, but applaud the thought William!

Russian forces have routinely bombed hospitals, tortured civilians, abducted children, raped women, and destroyed critical infrastructure in Ukraine,” PHR Executive Director Sam Zarifi said in response to Russia’s attempt to rejoin the United Nations Human Rights Council. “Electing Russia to the Human Rights Council would make a mockery of the world’s central human rights institution.”

At the 54th session of the Human Rights Council, PHR also called for the UN Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine to investigate the 1,100+ attacks on Ukraine’s health system.

I can only hope that Zarina remains safe in Ukraine. She is doing the work of ALL of the news organizations that have put Ukraine in their rearview mirror in favor of shiny objects. I wish her safe travels and to stay out of harm's way.

On our side of the ocean, whoever thought that, after the Cold War, some of our Congress, specifically the rabid Trumplicans, would again be on the side of Russia? I can still remember when St. Reagan called it the "evil empire," and here we are, some forty years later, having to endure our representatives in Congress, flying the flag of Russia against Ukraine, a country that is dedicated to democracy. It's disgusting. It's un-American, and traitorous to the very spirit of the United States.

My thanks to you and Zarina for keeping us aware that the tragedy continues to unfold in real time.

Despite his clear failure on the battlefield, Putin’s big success is dividing America. This with a massive help from the Maggot element in the Republican Party.

A suggestion, these imbeciles should be subjected to a Clockwork Orange moment. Eyes pried open watching, e.g. Sean Penn's new documentary on the plight of everyday Ukrainians. Not that their minds can digest anything but the Bannon inspired chaos, tear it all down, then rebuild into the most horrible from of government possible. But, maybe but some good will emerge.

It is sad but thankfully so that people like Zarina and Sean do their best to inform while mainstream press would rather focus on 45's latest bullshit. When will maggot nation understand that 45 is the lowest rung on the ladder of assholes. Putin and Bannon are the true forces of evil whilst 45 walks aimlessly in the background repeatedly chanting "not a puppet". I am so sick and tired of mainstream media treating him like the messiah rather than the slavish candy-ass he truly is.

It was either the virus or COVID 19 that had me down and out for the first three weeks in September. I have been trying to play catch-up ever since. Not an excuse; just an explanation.

I am shocked that the press has abandoned Ukraine.

On a WaPo article, a commenter named Jean had this to say:

"Before ousting Kevin McCarthy, Matt Gatez got the green light from Donald Trump. Trump, in turn, wasted no time before publicly endorsing Jim Jordan as Speaker. Why? Because Steve Scalise, the nominal next-in-line Speaker, supports continued funding for Ukraine. To get the help he desperately wants from Vladimir Putin in the run-up to the 2024 presidential elections, Trump knows the quid pro quo is allowing the Russian president to take Ukraine. As Speaker of the House, Jim Jordan will categorically refuse to sign off on American funding to Ukraine, thereby sealing that nation's fate."

I am deeply appreciative that Zarina Zabrisky is holding firm. Thanks, Greg.

I try to stay positive, have a few laughs, and feel good about life in general. Reading again about what Putin is doing and intends to do upsets me greatly. But the reporting of these crimes against humanity is essential to maintaining the will of good people to fight against tyranny, and especially against this particular evil. I think the Republicans currently in Congress are a lost cause. Send aid to Ukraine in spite of them, vote them out, and then let’s see what else we can do to strengthen democracy here and abroad.

I don’t even know what to say anymore except strong hearts and will need to prevail through this. We can’t seem to understand positive outcome quick intolerance to anything anymore. Jim Jordan shouldn’t even be in the House to run for Speaker. Probably at this point, videos like the one done about the Wisdom factor of aging are about the best support to get out t here. The big job; change the culture. It might be easier than getting rid of bedbugs. I hope so. Because tomorrow we will call Israel and betcha what we will hear is “we don’t know” what is going on or what happened. Followed by, “so many conflicts going on between so many parties now that the structure can’t be maintained.” Give our love to Zarina. God, I hope she stays safe.
