Excellent read - - thank you Ms. Molinari! I remember having a marked feeling of dread for the upcoming day as well on 1/5, which had been my bday. My sisters called for that, but we talked about our shared growing dread for the next day. It's disturbing how many of the insurrectionists had/have military ties. Where I work, that definitely makes me feel less safe.

I’ll bet Christine Blase Ford relates to this story. I’ll bet 1 million women relate to this story. I’m screaming.

We continue to be focused on the racial injustice in this country, and it is certainly a critical and important story. We are ignoring the war against women that is raging once again in this country. It is becoming very unsafe for a woman of any color, race or ethnicity; not only to walk the streets dressed as she chooses, but to enter a profession, speak up in public, demand customer service or write from her gut.

We owe it to our daughters and granddaughters: FIX THIS!!

Chilling story. All women know about these threats, these ideas put into white women's heads. We don't all survive.

Military culture is thoroughly marinated in misogyny and male supremacy. "Be a man." "Man up." "Are you a bunch of girls?" etc. etc. I understand that Fox News is the constant background in retail areas, eating halls, and waiting rooms throughout the military. Changing the channel on government televisions might be a place to start.

The police problem is the most threatening because it's bloody everywhere. Down here, too: we have the same misogynistic cops who beat their wives and get off on their 'power' over the public. When someone's reporting of a policeman gets through the system, it's only ever inquired into by a board comprised of other policemen. Up to governments to fix this problem.

This is the second article of the like that I've read online in the past few weeks; seems strippers are turning out to be writers manquées ! :) Good on 'em !
