What is also stunning is the fact he filed six federal bankruptcies based on these false figures and yet we have seen absolutely no repercussions for those criminal acts.

I didn't even think of that. He also took out all those loans claiming to be worth more than he was. It's all so awful.

So if I pretend to be a billionaire, I'll be able to pay less tax? How he gets away with it all baffles me everyday! Ugh

Call me naive, but I can't understand why the IRS would issue these high dollar "refunds" without a closer check of the returns.

Well done, Greg, on your reporting of "FPOTUS' numbers." Wish I'd saved my head to explode this week rather than last; but will look into Rat Island as a final resting place🤨

They ARE checking the return, but it's a slow, byzantine process. The WSJ link at the very bottom explains it. I think it's WSJ...

But he's already got the $$ is my point!

Let’s start with his family, the banks lending him money, Cohen teachings, Obama’s presidency, Comey’s hate towards Hillary, Collegate voting, Bill Barr’s love, hate, and Mueller’s no report. And last but not least, Alaska hockey Mom! You’ve got a a ticking bomb ready too go off. And it will. But only if you stupidly live in a red state!

It's insane. And scary. And disheartening. All of it.

Isn't there a rule that all refunds over a certain amount, require a review by Congress? Mr. Johnston and the other journalist Mr. Wayne(?) have reported on the amount.

The IRS is supposed to audit returns of the sitting president but waited two years to do so for Trump. That was one of the findings of Ways & Means. The guy just keeps getting away with his crimes.

He made how much from the Apprentice?

How much did Mark Burnett make? Geez Louise. Whether it was love or hate- his ratings made a lot of people money.

Sandy. I am not sure how much he made on The Apprentice, but trump was upset after he learned how much Gwen Stefani was earning on The Voice.(NBC). That is the origin of why he chose to produce the hideous escalator video and pretended to be a candidate for the presidency. He wanted a raise from NBC. That is why he made the video. What a fraud!

‘That video was before he decided to run. The rest is ugly history. His 4 years in office were worse than the Pandemic. Prison soon.

Thanks for that

Burnett could pull the plug on the arse, but he may have to repent a few things if he did

He was in a lot of debt when he got that money, though. He's probably still a negative net worth.

Thank you. Also, how is it that he has 6 bankruptcies when the law is no one gets more than 2 in their life time? Who is shouldering the other 4? Oh, wait...corporations are people, too. In that case, bankruptcies for everyone! The tax payer schmucks who believe he isn't an asset for Russia and probably the FBI too will pay for them!!

I don't understand it. But then, Whitey Bulger got away with a lot of crimes, too, as a CI.

Also note that the Republicans want to drastically cut funding to the IRS, which is already underfunded. Perhaps if the IRS had an up-to-date computer system & were fully staffed, then collections on incorrectly reported income/losses could be pursued on a timely basis & the funds collected from the cheaters could pay down the “debt”. Just a thought....

Shh, stop talking sense and logic. MAGA don't like that!

Every $1 we invest in the IRS yields $6 back. The ROI is massive.

I will share with all “Greg” readers, my quiet protest. On the 2022 federal tax form 1040, on the occupation field at the page bottom, I wrote the following: FCK TRMP $750.

If you have been following the years he paid a tax, you will understand. As retired teachers, we have always paid taxes more than trump the racist and rapist, unfit for office scrote.

Maybe the IRS needs all those 87,000 new IRS agents that the Fox crowd keeps yammering about to go through his cons for all those years. Stick it to the greedy con artist, IRS. Somebody sure as hell needs to.
