Tonight, I learned another woman in the AZ area has also pleaded guilty but wants to cooperate and tell her story. This is BIG! Things are a’changin’!

We have some protection through the democratic roles of secretaries of state who would also serve as a front line against illegal “certifiers” in each state. I was just listening to Heather Cox Richardson today (08/14/24) on her weekly podcast & learned that the actual certification is done at the state level, as before this I thought that the ceremonial count by the Vice President was the official certification. I had intended to look up how it all worked after your response to my comment, and it was still there in my mind to do so, but I have been busy with life & busy going down rabbit holes & had not followed up. (I’m embarrassed 😳 that I didn’t follow up immediately.)
So the Republicans will be/are spending money at the local level to fight certification, which makes it a much broader war on many fronts. Right?
More and more people seem excited about democracy again, so hopefully the election will be a blowout for Democrats.

I don’t think that we as a country are yet educated enough about how malignant narcissists operate and the extent they will go to in order to remain in power. If I were queen, I would be investigating the backgrounds of all these people, well in advance of the election and making criminal conspiracy referrals, even before they have an opportunity to rear their ugly faces and refuse to certify election results.

When Gorsuch was first appointed to the SC, I became so frustrated and angry I called his church and got his priest on the phone. It was awkward to say the least. Neither of us were prepared for that conversation. I couldn’t believe I got her on the phone. All I kept saying was why, what, how could somebody with such ill intentions hide out in her church for so long pretending to be a decent Episcopalian? How did he go unnoticed? Her answer was unsatisfactory, something about tending the flock.
